Our New Melrose Botanicals Everyday Shampoo is the sulphate free version. The Melrose Botanicals “Fragrance free” variety is also free from colours and fragrances. Protect and care for your hair and scalp with this rich, luxurious shampoo made without sulphates, harsh chemicals or animal ingredients.
Melrose Everyday Conditioner base like all the Melrose conditioners is sulphate free. It is also free from colours and fragrances.
Melrose Everyday Hand and Body Moisturiser is also free from colours and fragrances.

Do Everyday bases contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate
Melrose offers the Everyday Shampoo base in a formulation that contains Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate provides the foaming action we like so much is shampoos. For some people sodium lauryl sulphate is an allergen. For most it causes no problems.
Are Everyday bases Sulphate free?
No, but the new Melrose Botanicals Everyday Fragrance free shampoo is our sulphate free version for those sensitive to sodium lauryl sulphate. However all Melrose Conditioners and Moisturisers are sulphate free
Why no fragrances and colours?
For most people fragrances and colours are not an issue, however for a growing number of individuals these fragrances and colours trigger allergies, eczema and dermatitis. They may even trigger behavioral issues in children.
Do Melrose Bases contain Animal derived ingredients?
Melrose Bases are free of animal derived ingredients.
Are Melrose Bases Tested on Animals?
Melrose has never and will never test its products on animals.
Can I add my own essential oils to Melrose Bases?
Yes, that is fine.
Melrose recommends adding 10 to 20 drops of essential oils, eg. Lavender to 200ml of Base.
