The Muscle Soother Smoothie

Help to reduce inflammation with this perfect post-workout treat. Inflammation fighting ingredients such as turmeric, oats and flaxseed oil work synergistically to downplay inflammation and help to soothe sore muscles.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp Melrose Flaxseed Oil (or 1 tsp Melrose Fish Oil)
  • 1.5 cups oat milk
  • 1 cup frozen banana
  • ¼ cup whole oats
  • 1 tsp fresh turmeric, grated*
  • ¼ cup probiotic coconut yoghurt
  • 1 – 2 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Ice

Method:

Add all ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.

Tips:

Fresh Turmeric is best, but if unavailable, replace with a high-quality dried turmeric powder
